The Head of the Department of General Medical Practice of BSMU shared his experience with colleagues at an international conference in Andijan

In 2023 a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation in the field of healthcare was signed between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Belarusian State Medical University is the flagship in the realisation of the tasks of this document.

On April 30, in the city of Andijan (Republic of Uzbekistan), at the plenary session of the international scientific and practical conference "Application of high innovative technologies in preventive medicine", the head of the Department of General Medical Practice of BSMU, chief freelance specialist of the Ministry of Health in general Medical Practice, Candidate of Medical Sciences, associate Professor made a report reflecting the modern understanding of risk factors for non-communicable diseases Vadim Sushinski. In this scientific report, he focused on the psychoemotional risk factors of non-communicable diseases. The report attract great interest and was discussed by interested specialists.

By the way, the Andijan forum brought together leading medical experts from Turkey, India, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, and Uzbekistan. The head of the Department of General Medical Practice of BSMU, the chief freelance specialist of the Ministry of Health for general Medical Practice, took part in it not for the first time – last year he shared his own medical experience regarding metabolic risk factors with foreign colleagues.

In addition to speaking at the international conference, Vadim Sushinski, in the frame of academic mobility, conducted classes with students, as well as with doctors improving their qualifications at the Andijan State Medical Institute.
