Military Field Therapy

The following disciplines are taught at the chair:

  • «Military field therapy» - for 6th year students of the Military Medical Department.
  • «Outpatient therapy» – for the 4th-5th year cadets of the Military Medical Department.
  • «Clinical pathophysiology « – for 4th year cadets of the Military Medical Department
  • «Clinical immunology, allergology» – for 5th year cadets of the Military Medical Department
  • «First aid» – for 1st year cadets of the Military Medical Department.
  • «Military field therapy» – for students of the 5th year of medical, pediatric, preventive medicine departments of BSMU.
  • The section «Military toxicology and emergency toxicology» of the discipline «Emergency Medicine» – for the 4thstudents of medical and pediatric departments of BSMU.
  • Internal diseases» – for 4th-5th-6th year of the Military Medical Department.
  • «Basics of medical care» – for 1st year cadets of the Military Medical Department.

The Chair of Military Field Therapy organizes and conducts elective courses: «Clinical electrocardiography for a military doctor» and «Hereditary connective tissue disorders in the practice of a military doctor» in the discipline «Internal Diseases» for students of the 6th year of the Military Medical Department.

The chair conducts retraining in therapy for the medical staff of the law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Belarus (specialty 1-81 02 55 «Therapy»), advanced training of the medical staff of the law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Belarus in the «Current issues of internal diseases» and «Current issues of cardiology and pulmonology in the practice of a military doctor», retraining of military paramedics in the academic disciplines «Military Field Therapy» and ‘Internal Diseases», training of clinical residents.

The research topic of the department is «Undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia and hereditary connective tissue disorders».

The military-scientific society of cadets and trainees is organized at the chair. A military-scientific school was formed – «Hereditary disorders of connective tissue of conscripts».
